Orthogonal measuring systems aren’t invalid. Width, Length, Depth, progression of time… 3.1D is not USELESS.
But Orthogonal measure s only really useful under a incredibly small frame, in terms of… anything. It doesn’t really make sense past the horizon. It doesn’t really make sense on the quantum level.
One that has been raisd with it would assume that “higher” dimeensions continue to be a right angles to “lower” – but the measure of time shows that that can not be the case. The is no definition of a right angle to time.
However, serten aspects of matter can be interpreted as 6.2D in effect. NOt six dimensional in ascribed names, but in effect – such as the cube square rule dictates the exponent of the effects of gravity and radiation diminish… You will attempt to imaging 5th and 6th dimensional objects. These are the same object. This is merely a severely more tightly bound exponent of effect, such that it takes “stangelets”, as you call them, strangelet’s density, to show measurable effect.

Now, the numbers wouldn’t make any real sense without the math, which I can’t disclose at this point – if you were to recompose an amount of mass equal to Earth’s Moon in stranglet form, depending on the compression, you would have something between about half a kilometer in diameter to a meter in diameter without exceeding any schwarzschild radius. While you would probably hie lothe to assign the higher density the same name – like you assign different formations of water ice different numerals – both are at such densities that 6.2D forces are in effect. It takes a ridiculous amount of power to interrupt this formation.
Ah, yes, 6.2D. Um. You may know that photons don’t experience time while in transit. Matter, however, can. In most frames of reference the two frames of time are not easily distinguishable, but at nearly the speed of light – and of course over it – they very much are.
The time that light, that photons are held to is their momentum. So matter trying to exceed the speed of light is trying to overcome that momentum – which, ok, put it in the dark you say. But Matter is constantly emitting photons. without following the correct procedure, the lightspeed break is always left on.
What is this procedure? Ah, You have position, velocity, acceleration. But there are higher powers of movement. I think you call some of the snap cracle and pop. You may think of it as a series of keys that, when turned, disable that lightspeed brake for a short while.
I mean, theoretically, you could leave it disabled forever, but of course there are effects. When matter can’t emit light, when light can’t vector, You aren’t in Play Dogh’s Cave, you are in The Black. You have gravametric sensors, you have the voices around you – I mean coworkers – but nothing else. And when you want to slow down, to leave The Black, all that light emits as soon as it possibly can. Possibly vaporizing what emitted it, of too much built up.
You want to come back to a standsill relatively quickly – you have this concept called void collapse? It’s somewhat similar to that. You insert the vessels’ mass back into spacetime where light works again, you create a wake. The more mass in the area not protected by an MN drive, the larger an area gets pulled into that wake. 50 solar diameters from a star minimum, no popping in around planets to endanger them.
Ah. “Multiple of Neutrino”. It does not translate well. “FTL” supposes that massless light is the thing to call it when only concerned with speed – while in forging MN keys, mass never cancels out.
Um. No. There are no copies of the MN tables on this vessel. On principle they don’t let MN engineers out of orbit, much mess on the vessel, much less on a mission.
Oh. You’ve hear of the Plyd? Yes, the foundational information is on the second page. The “civilizations died for this” page. There is a lot of work getting form that page to a working vessel. The Plyd provided this drive’s Stranglet Plates. We have not idea how they got or rendered them. Just had our safe handling procedures verified. The say looking into them is staring into an endless pit – No idea when anybody would have stared at it though.
I can’t say I have any idea how you would contact the Plyd for such information. They tend to be the ones to make contact. Stable full world governments, yet to shoot themselves in the foot, that’s what I’ve gathered. They’ve been rumored to step in do the shooting themselves is someone untrustworthy is about to do so. Less collateral damage – collapsed civilization instead of missing planet sort of thing.
Oh, I should say. I would not trust anyone that says they actually know what is going on with that thing. As I said, the engineers never see the engine. What I said is probably something like the actual physics. But for all I know the engineers don’t agree with what is actually happening. And we’ve been operating these ships for … three generations. Even if our theories are better than our elders – we’re still no closer to building one of these strangelet short jump drives – even if we can pull up to neutron stars bumping into each other, we can’t exactly shepherd the fragments with our current ships.
