There are two planets in the N’Mob home system with breathable atmospheres.
The first planet, as of the modern day, is dominated by the Ouinhead, with one Lost N’Mob Settlement – founded “60 generations ago”, shortly before Ouinhead infestation. It can be considered a subtropical climate.
The second planet is a water world with large ice caps; a proportionally large part of available land is considered tundra. It is possible the planet is undergoing a intentionally maintained ice age.
Neither world has any natural satellites; the first has a few artificial ones for observation, outside the bounds of geocentric orbit. The satellites are not controlled by the N’Mob, nor the Ouinhed, but by third parties. The second has more, nominally controlled by the N’mob, but mostly serving as embassies and trade hubs. THere is also a series of orbital towers across the planet – almost the dimensions of space elevators, but rarely serving that function. They’re considered observation posts by most third parties.
The second planets ocean is extremely stratified- just a few meters down, one hits a buoyancy layer of unoxygenated brine which is prohibitively hard to go beneath. This behavior does not match any other water world – and is frequently believed to be both unnatural and a sign of another species inhabiting the world.
